ReplyDeleteSilicon is solid in combined state not in elemental state.... as all the options are element we have to give answer on the basis of elemental state not on the basis of combined state.... as per my view the answer given is correct.... :)
DeleteQuestion No 5: ONO- & ONCL are isoelectronic . In the molecule formation, we need to see only valence electrons and in ONO-, the no. Of valence electrons are: O ( 6) +N (5)+O- (7) =18 electrons are present and in ONCl, the no of valence electrons are : O ( 6) +N (5)+Cl (7) =18 electrons.
